Question 1

Adding Pre-Checkout Upsell Opt-Ins For Order Plus Extension

Accepted Answer

By default, Order Plus displays upsell offers at checkout. The AutoCheck feature allows you to add an opt-in to your cart page so customers can accept an upsell before reaching checkout.

When a customer opts in from the cart, Order Plus reads the orderPlusChecked cart property and automatically pre-selects the upsell offer at checkout. If the customer doesn't opt in, the offer still appears at checkout as normal. This gives customers an earlier opportunity to see and engage with the offer.

Important: Shopify Compliance

Shopify requires that any product added to an order must have explicit customer consent. That means:

The upsell must not be pre-checked by default. The customer needs to actively opt in.
The upsell label must clearly describe what the customer is agreeing to (e.g., "Add [Upsell] to my order").
Do not silently inject cart properties without a visible UI element.

Allowed vs. Not Allowed

Allowed - This cart displays two separate checkout options: one that includes an optional add-on with its price clearly shown, and one without. The customer can see exactly what the extra cost is and make their own choice before proceeding:

Not Allowed - In this example, the additional fee is mentioned but it's not clear which button adds it. There's also no indication whether the charge is already reflected in the ca

Question 2

Why isn't my post-purchase offer showing?

Accepted Answer

Applies to: Post-purchase offers in Brew. Requires post-purchase offers to be enabled in your Shopify checkout settings.

If you created a post-purchase offer but customers are not seeing it after they place an order, one of the checks below will almost always explain why.

Post-purchase offers work differently from your other offers. The post-purchase page is controlled by Shopify, not by Brew, and Shopify will skip that page entirely for certain payment methods and certain kinds of orders. Even a perfectly configured offer will not appear on an order that Shopify has decided to skip.

Work through the sections in order. The first four are settings you can fix. The rest are conditions on the order itself.

Brew is not selected as your post-purchase app
The offer is not active
Another offer won on priority
The order did not match the offer conditions
The payment method skips the post-purchase page
The order itself did not qualify

1. Brew is not selected as your post-purchase app in Shopify

This is the most common cause by far.

Shopify allows only one app to own the post-purchase page. If you have any other upsell app installed, or previously had one,

Question 3

Post-purchase metrics explained

Accepted Answer

Applies to: Post-purchase offers in Brew.

Brew reports post-purchase performance in three places. The metrics mean the same thing in each place. Only the scope changes.

The summary cards at the top of the Post-purchase page cover every post-purchase offer in your store.
The offer table below them breaks the same data down per offer.
The A/B test panel inside an offer breaks it down per variant.

Not every metric appears at every level:

| Metric | Store totals | Per offer | Per A/B variant | | ---- | | Impressions | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Upsells | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Revenue | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Take Rate | Yes | Yes | Yes | | RPI | Yes | No | No | | AOV Lift | Yes | No | No |

Impressions

An impression is counted each time an offer is displayed on the post-purchase page.

Impressions are counted per order, not per customer. A returning customer who places three orders and sees an offer on each one produces three impressions, not one.

An order that never reaches the post-purchase page produces no impression at all. This is why your impression count is always lower than your total order count, often much lower. Shopify skips the post-purchase page for wallet payments, gift cards, local delivery and several other conditions.

Q: Show Judge.me reviews on Brew upsells

Show Judge.me reviews on Brew upsells
Applies to: Post-purchase offers, checkout upsells, and Thank you page upsells in Brew. The post-purchase Reviews module requires the Judge.me Awesome plan. Available on all Brew plans. Brew can pull your real Judge.me reviews into the moments where a shopper is deciding on an offer. There are two separate pieces, and it helps to understand that they work differently. The first is the Reviews module on post-purchase offer pages. It shows full review cards — star rating, review text, reviewer name, and optionally photos, dates, and product names — along with a shop-wide summary row with your average rating and total review count. This piece needs your Judge.me API token, because Brew reads the reviews live from Judge.me. The second is star ratings on upsell products at checkout and on the Thank you page. This piece does not need the token at all. Judge.me already syncs a rating and review count to every product in Shopify as metafields, and Brew simply reads those. If Judge.me is installed on your store, this works out of the box. The integration is read-only in both cases. Brew displays your reviews; it never creates, edits, or deletes anything in Judge.me. Only published reviews are shown — hidden or unpublished reviews never appear. Reviewer names appear exactly as configured in your Judge.me display settings, so if your Judge.me widgets show "John" instead of a full name, so will Brew.
Connect Judge.m
